Thank you for registering for the Green Screen Environmental Programme. Your shoot will now be a greener, more sustainable production.
Please read the step by step guide then click on PRODUCTIONS at the foot of the page to complete the Green commitments for your shoot.
Producer buy-in ensures that the environmental issues have been assessed and understood by top management. The Producer, Line Producer or Production Manager should create and sign the Environmental Policy in your account.
There are 7 mandatory environmental strategies for your shoot.
You then choose an additional 3 strategies
from a list of 11.
Once completed, digitally sign and submit your policy. This is your declaration of intent.
Those 10 environmental strategies from your Environmental Policy now form your Crew Memo.
Once completed, the Crew Memo is added to your 1st day's call sheet as a public declaration of intent.
It can be sent to suppliers to check their environmental credentials and any additional green services
they can offer your production.
The Green Steward is responsible for overseeing all the production's environmental strategies and managing the charitable donations.
Contact paul@greenshoot.com to check availability of trained Stewards. If none are available, please nominate one of your production runners who will find a daily duties guide at www.green-screen.org.uk/resources/daily-duties
They are welcome to get in touch for any further info/advice.
Please note: the Green Steward is available as an extra pair of hands on set when not carrying out their green duties.
Your production has full access to the resources and departmental crew guides, to help you stay on track with environmental tips and advice.
On wrap, the Green Steward uploads the evidence.
This will include the 1st day's call sheet showing the Crew Memo, a wrap report and photos of your environmental strategies on set (e.g. recycling containers, portable water bottles, biodiesel generators).
(Please note that Greenshoot & Green Screen support your donations programme but do not provide transport.)
Once we have received and audited your evidence, you will be issued with a Green Screen stamp and certificate.
This can be used on your website, promotional material and end roller.
